Virgin Media Ireland is offering a promotion to residents of the Republic of Ireland to celebrate the upcoming launch of Grand Theft Auto 6. A spokesperson for Media said, “GTA 6” is the biggest game launch in years, maybe ever.
Participants must share their review of the game on TikTok or Instagram and tag Media Ireland to qualify as the winner. Media operates as a division of Liberty Global, which is the international telecommunications and investment firm owned by John Malone.
The game is set in Leonida, a fictional world resembling Florida, and will be available on Microsoft’s Xbox Series X and S as well as Sony’s PS5. More than 300 million views have been recorded on YouTube for the first trailer of the game.
Between 27 August and 31 August 2026, an extended look at the title by Rockstar drew over 31 million views on Netflix.
