Key Takeaways

  • Tasdeeq's initial public offering fully subscribed within two seconds.
  • Reflects strong demand from institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Company set to become South Asia’s first publicly listed credit bureau.

The book-building phase of Tasdeeq’s initial public offering (IPO) was fully subscribed in a record two seconds, according to Topline Securities, the consultant for the issue. This rapid subscription highlights strong investor interest.

Tasdeeq is Pakistan's first State Bank of Pakistan-licensed private credit bureau and one of only two licensed credit bureaus operating in the country. It aims to become South Asia’s first publicly listed credit bureau upon completion of its IPO.

The company is offering 112.5 million shares through the book-building process, with a floor price of Rs. 1.90 per share and a cap price of Rs. 3.00 per share. The book building remains open until August 6, 2026.

Tasdeeq operates in a business driven by regulatory requirements rather than discretionary spending, providing a relatively stable business model. This stability is expected to attract further investment interest.

The company also stands out as the only credit bureau in Pakistan that offers a consumer mobile application, enabling individuals to directly access their credit information.

Topline Securities noted that the strong demand from institutional investors and foreign funds, along with high-net-worth individuals, reflects confidence in Tasdeeq’s future prospects.
