The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced scheduled power outages in several regions across its service area on Friday. The outages are due to routine maintenance and development work aimed at ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the power supply system.

In Attock Circle, electricity will be suspended from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in Munirabad, Garhi Afghan, Lala Rukh, Industrial areas, and their adjoining feeders. Similarly, Chakwal Circle will experience outages between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. in Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur, CWO, and nearby feeders.

The Jhelum Circle is also set to undergo maintenance with power supply suspended from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the Karoli Feeder. Additionally, in the GSO Circle, several 132kV transmission lines will be affected. Outages are scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on the AWC HMC Taxila and Sangjani Burhan lines, while other lines such as Chakwal Bhagwal Talagang, Kahuta City Palandri, and New Wah Bahtermore will remain shut from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., along with connected equipment and surrounding areas.

IESCO has assured the public that they will restore electricity before the scheduled time if maintenance work is completed earlier than planned. The company expressed its apologies for any inconvenience caused by these outages, emphasizing their commitment to maintaining a reliable power supply system.

Residents in affected areas are advised to take necessary precautions and plan their activities accordingly. IESCO has also urged customers to report any issues or concerns related to the scheduled maintenance through their customer service channels.

The company’s spokesperson stated that these outages are part of routine maintenance efforts aimed at improving the overall performance and longevity of the power infrastructure. By conducting regular maintenance, IESCO aims to minimize disruptions and ensure a steady supply of electricity to its customers.
