The primary focus of the discussions was on improving the logistics for export and import cargo, specifically from Karachi Port to Sialkot and its surrounding areas. According to Mazhar, the aim is to streamline the process and make it more efficient for businesses operating in the region.

Hafeezullah highlighted that Pakistan Railways is committed to providing reliable and cost-effective transportation solutions. He stated, 'We are keen on collaborating with local chambers of commerce like SCCI to ensure that our services meet the specific needs of the business community.'

During the meeting, both parties discussed potential improvements in infrastructure, including rail connectivity and storage facilities at key points along the route. Mazhar expressed optimism about the prospects for collaboration: 'This partnership will not only benefit Sialkot but also contribute to the overall economic growth of Punjab province.'

The discussions covered various aspects such as freight rates, service reliability, and the implementation of modern technologies in rail operations. Both representatives agreed on the importance of regular communication and joint efforts to address any challenges that may arise.

Mazhar further elaborated on the benefits for local businesses: 'By leveraging Pakistan Railways' extensive network, we can reduce transportation costs and improve delivery times, which is crucial for maintaining competitiveness in the global market.'
