An Israeli strike on a civilian vehicle in Gaza on Sunday killed one Palestinian and injured at least eleven others. Israel's military stated that the strike was aimed at a Hamas militant.
Palestinians have reported a rise in Israeli fire and airstrikes throughout Gaza over the last month. The conflict has resulted in the deaths of over 75,000 people, and much of the Gaza enclave has been destroyed.
Separately, Israeli citizens held their weekly demonstration in Tel Aviv’s Hostages Square. This protest marked the final gathering before Wednesday, which observes three years since the October 7 attack.
Protesters expressed a desire to remember the victims and demanded an independent state inquiry into the events and decisions that caused the attack. The Hamas-led assault on Israel killed approximately 1,200 people.
Furthermore, more than 250 people were taken hostage during the Hamas-led assault.
