Peter Thiel buys Bel-Air mansion for $130 million in Los Angeles

Peter Thiel acquired the Bel-Air mansion, which sold for $130 million, in Los Angeles. The property, identified as the 1938 Casa Encantada, was sold at a foreclosure auction held in Pomona.
This transaction represents the most costly estate sale in Los Angeles for the current year. The estate covers approximately 8.4 acres of land and features seven bedrooms alongside twenty bathrooms.
Peter Thiel intends to utilise the property for investment purposes and undertake upgrades to the residence. Previously, Conrad Hilton held ownership of the mansion, and David Murdock purchased it back in 1980 for $12.4 million.
Reportedly, Peter Thiel shifted his main residence from California to south Florida last year, and his investment portfolio now spans three continents.
