Fremantle appoints Sharon Levy CEO of Fremantle Americas and Australia

Fremantle appointed Sharon Levy as the Chief Executive Officer of Fremantle Americas and Australia, effective from mid-January. The company stated that this appointment forms part of Fremantle’s broader global growth strategy.
Levy will report directly to Jennifer Mullen, the Fremantle Group CEO. The new role includes regional responsibilities that were previously managed by Mullin.
Levy previously worked at Banijay, having joined Fremantle from that company. Fremantle noted that Levy has been recognised as one of the industry’s premier creative and commercial executives.
Furthermore, the executive holds accolades including a Peabody Award and is an Emmy-nominated producer. During her tenure, Fremantle saw ESNA solidify its standing as a dominant market force, aligning with Banijay’s global network of production labels and delivering active series across all four major broadcast networks concurrently.
Additionally, Sharon Levy spearheaded Binary Launch, an international accelerator program that supports creators across more than 30 territories worldwide.
