Amy Poehler interviewed Noah Wyle on her podcast, Good Hang, to discuss their respective projects. The pair talked about the television series ER and the drama The Pitt.

Wyle, who was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive, portrayed Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch for two seasons of The Pitt. The actor earned an Emmy for best actor in a drama series in 2025 and won again in 2026, followed by a Golden Globe for the same category in 2026.

Poehler offered feedback regarding a perceived lack of romance within the series. “Oh, you think it’s one for one?” Wyle asked during the conversation.

Poehler replied, “One for one, just a tiny smooch,” and added, “Just one middle of the day [smooch]!” Wyle suggested the show might have a “one-to-four ratio, but certainly not one to one.”

“You gonna show the guts, you gotta show some butts,” Poehler remarked. Dr. Robby will return to his duties after a three-month sabbatical at the conclusion of the second season.

The third season of The Pitt is scheduled to debut on 1 January 2027.
