Students will now be able to obtain both a motorcycle learner’s and regular driving license on the same day, without the usual 42-day wait period after obtaining a learner’s license.

A valid driving license is mandatory for students seeking to benefit from the e-bike scheme, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

More than 222,000 motorcycle driving licenses were issued during the past eight days, while over 6,500 juvenile driving permits have been issued this month.

Waqas Nazir directed licensing centers to provide the best possible facilities to students applying for licenses through the e-bike scheme.

He also stressed the importance of safe-driving training so students can become confident and responsible riders.
