Sohail Afridi announced the postponement of the PTI long march, moving the date from 27 September to 4 October. The march will now depart from Peshawar on 4 October, according to Sohail Afridi.

Sohail Afridi also informed TTAP chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai and Senate Opposition Leader Allama Raja Nasir Abbas about the postponement. Ali Amin Gandapur stated that changing the long march date weakened the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Gandapur claimed PTI had no specific preparations for the march. He asserted that increased pressure on the federal government would compel it to accept PTI's demands.

Ali Amin Gandapur noted that provincial ministers, assembly members, and workers faced picking up due to a lack of a strong chief ministerial writ in the province. Gandapur confirmed he reached Islamabad on three separate occasions during the protests.

He stated that he left the chief ministership following orders from PTI founder Imran Khan. Furthermore, Gandapur claimed he could return to the chief ministership if instructed.

PTI continues to prepare for a major protest and march in Islamabad. The party demands the release of its founder, Imran Khan.

PTI also demands the restoration of constitutional supremacy.
