Information Minister Attaullah Tarar accused the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government of facilitating terrorists for political and financial interests. Tarar further stated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership functioned as the "B team of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)".

He asserted that the K-P government pursues political and financial interests. Tarar specifically accused the K-P government of generating income through illegal mining and contracts.

He urged the K-P government to remove terrorists from both Pakistan and K-P. Additionally, Tarar accused K-P CM Sohail Afridi of failing both administratively and politically.

Tarar claimed the K-P government spent funds on sit-ins rather than allocating resources to the police. Talal Chaudhry accused the PTI leadership of adopting a "soft attitude" toward Afghanistan.

Chaudhry stated that K-P's political leadership has not provided guidance to its security forces over the last 14 years. He reported that Afghan nationals comprised about 70% of those involved in terrorist activities and operations across the last two-and-a-half to three years.

Chaudhry questioned why K-P did not supply resources to its Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD). The PTI rejected allegations made against the K-P government, citing the killing of Israrullah Gandapur on 16 October 2013.
