Bushra Naz Malik briefed the KDA chief on the CCP’s role in promoting fair competition, preventing anti-competitive practices, and safeguarding consumer rights.

Siddiqui stated that the KDA is digitizing land records in phases and building a secure digital archive for public access.

He added that the system will allow citizens to access property information remotely, while also improving record preservation and reducing delays and irregularities.

The KDA will also introduce a modern barcode-based file tracking mechanism to monitor file movement electronically, identify delays, and ensure timely action on land issues.

Siddiqui emphasized that transparency, merit, and fair competition are essential for a credible institutional system.

The meeting was attended by senior officials from both institutions.
