Every facilitator of terrorists will be arrested, whoever he is and wherever he is, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir
Field Marshal Asim Munir said that every facilitator, aide and perpetrator of terrorism must be brought to book, no matter who they are, no matter where they are.
According to ISPR, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir visited Corps Headquarters Peshawar today, where he was received by Corps Commander Peshawar. On this occasion, he was given a detailed briefing on the current security situation in the country and ongoing counter-terrorism operations.
The Field Marshal attended the funeral prayers of the soldiers martyred in the terrorist attack at Bannu Garrison and also visited the injured soldiers undergoing treatment at CMH Bannu.
On this occasion, the Army Chief paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the defense of the country and appreciated the bravery of the security forces against the Indian-sponsored sedition.
He emphasized that:
“The entire nation is united against terrorism, and our struggle will continue till the complete eradication of all forms of terrorism in Pakistan. Every facilitator, abettor and perpetrator involved in terrorism will be brought to justice, no matter who they are and where they are. Terrorism in the region has been exposed to the real world. Will go.”
Field Marshal Asim Munir also said that the blood of any innocent Pakistani will be held to account, and every conspiracy against the stability of the country will be responded to immediately and strongly.
Finally, the Army Chief stressed the need for capacity building of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and civil law enforcement agencies, and directed the concerned government agencies to take immediate steps. The Field Marshal clarified that:
“The Pakistan Army will continue to provide all possible support to enhance the training and capacity of law enforcement agencies.”
