During the hearing, the court observed that the use and sale of unregistered and substandard medicines could pose a serious threat to human lives, leading to the rejection of the bail pleas.

Former Justice Abdul Malik Gadhi, commenting on the case, stated that those involved in the sale of unregistered and substandard medicines should be dealt with strictly.

The court declined to confirm the interim bail granted to the accused and dismissed their applications, emphasizing the need for strict action against such practices.

The prosecution maintained that the accused were involved in the sale of unregistered medicines, and the recovered medicines were not registered with the relevant authorities.
