Six interactive experiences will demonstrate innovation across the bank's partnership ecosystem, Hang Seng Indexes, Markets and Securities Services, Commercial Banking, and Retail Banking and Wealth Management.
The bank launched its e-Passbook in April 2026, marking the first service of its kind in Hong Kong. More than one million customers currently use passbooks at the bank. Hang Seng is exploring bond tokenisation to provide retail investors with easier access to fixed-income investments.
A team led by Professor Ping Luo co-developed the SMASH high-dynamic humanoid table tennis system. The bank has supported local sporting talent for more than 35 years. Hang Seng Indexes co-developed ThemeFinder, a Gen-AI-enabled solution, with an AI innovator from the Cyberport community.
ThemeFinder can improve the efficiency of processing relevant data and identifying listed companies by up to 5 times. The bank launched a second cohort in April 2026. The bank has operated for more than 30 years.
