The business community called for closer police-industry coordination in Faisalabad to reinforce security, protect commercial activity, and sustain investor confidence. Arif Ehsan Malik, President of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI), welcomed the appointment of Inam-ur-Rehman as the new Regional Police Officer (RPO).
Malik congratulated Inam-ur-Rehman on taking up the duties as RPO Faisalabad Region. The business community expects the newly appointed RPO to consider Faisalabad’s distinct industrial and commercial significance and to further strengthen institutional communication between the police and business representatives.
Regular and meaningful interaction between law-enforcement authorities and the business community could help identify security-related challenges at the grassroots level and facilitate timely action on issues affecting traders, industrialists, and other stakeholders. To explore avenues for enhanced cooperation between the police and business community, Arif Ehsan Malik invited the new RPO to visit the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry at his earliest convenience.
The FCCI stated its readiness to extend possible cooperation to the police department for improving law and order and creating a safer environment for both the business community and citizens.
