Businessmen Panel to contest FPCCI elections following United Business Group breach
The Businessmen Panel (BMP) will run in the upcoming Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) election after the United Business Group (UBG) breached their existing agreement. Mian Anjum Nisar, Chairman, announced the decision during a press conference held at the Karachi Press Club.
General Haji Ghulam Ali, Secretary, and Sultan Chawla attended the briefing. The BMP leaders stated that Sindh faces discriminatory treatment whenever the province's representation is discussed.
BMP leaders said, "We will never tolerate violation of the rights of Sindh and the written agreement between UBG and BMP, nor will there be any compromise on the rights of Sindh and democratic traditions and transparency should be maintained in the FPCCI." The group also expressed its backing for the economic vision of Field Marshal Hafiz Asim Munir.
