Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has issued a stern warning against the sale of government jobs in the province, stating that no minister or secretary will be spared if credible evidence of such practices is found. During a meeting of the secretaries' committee on Thursday, Bugti emphasized the government's commitment to merit-based recruitment and transparency in the entire recruitment process.

The chief minister ordered an inquiry into complaints of irregularities in the recruitment within the forest department, aiming to ensure that all government jobs are filled through fair and impartial means. He stressed that anyone found guilty after an impartial investigation would face strict legal action, highlighting the government's resolve to protect the employment rights of Balochistan's youth.

In addition to the inquiry, Bugti directed officials to implement the approved policy for merit-based recruitment through artificial intelligence (AI) for all posts from Grade 5 and above. The Chief Minister’s Secretariat will provide assistance in conducting local tests, ensuring that the recruitment process is transparent and free from political pressure, favouritism, or influence.

The meeting also reviewed the progress of provincial departments under the Annual Development Programme, with a focus on ensuring that recruitment procedures are conducted with integrity. Orders were issued for immediate implementation of the approved policy, with provincial ministers Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi and Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, Chief Secretary Shakil Qadir Khan, and other officials in attendance.

Bugti further urged officers to perform their duties honestly and impartially, warning that political pressure and influence would not be tolerated. He stated that the government machinery was united on this policy, emphasizing the importance of merit-based recruitment and transparency in the entire process.

The meeting also reviewed the progress of development projects, with Bugti highlighting the government's commitment to improving the lives of Balochistan's citizens through fair and transparent practices.
