In addition to the citizen facilitation center, the minister also inspected a new fleet of rescue vehicles procured from China for the Islamabad Rescue and Fire Brigade. These vehicles are expected to significantly enhance the rescue and firefighting capabilities of the city.

The new fleet includes four fire aerial trucks, six fire towers, and five fire tanks, all equipped with modern firefighting and rescue equipment. These vehicles can operate at heights of up to 256 feet and will be deployed around the clock at six stations across Islamabad.

The minister highlighted that this is the biggest addition to the Islamabad Rescue service since 2009. The vehicles are expected to reach Islamabad from Karachi within five days, marking a significant upgrade in emergency response capabilities.

The Grand Khidmat Markaz is expected to improve the efficiency and convenience for citizens, streamlining the process of accessing various government services. The new rescue vehicles will provide enhanced protection and support for the people of Islamabad.
