Two agreements were signed during the ceremony: one between the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) and Quantum Valley Pakistan, and another between Plug and Play and Quantum Valley Pakistan, aimed at enhancing technological collaboration and supporting the innovation ecosystem.

Iqbal stated that Quantum Valley Pakistan will serve as a platform to connect Pakistani youth with global technology and innovation hubs, creating new opportunities for startups and high-tech businesses.

The minister linked the initiative to Pakistan’s broader economic goals, aiming for a $1 trillion economy by 2035 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047, stressing the importance of increasing exports for economic sovereignty.

Iqbal argued that Pakistan’s defence and diplomatic successes must be backed by a strong and sustainable economy, and highlighted the government’s targets of achieving a $1 trillion economy by 2035 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047.

He emphasized the need for a strong economic future for the young generation, stating that Pakistan needs to focus on economic growth rather than turmoil on its streets.

Today is not merely the inauguration of a project; it marks the beginning of a new direction for Pakistan’s future.
