The Kremlin has stated that it is not ruling out the resumption of peace talks between Russia, Ukraine, and the United States, according to a statement from Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

Peskov made the comments in response to a recent visit to Moscow and Kyiv by U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who are attempting to revive stalled negotiations aimed at ending the conflict in Ukraine.

While the Kremlin is open to the possibility of resuming the trilateral format, Peskov noted that it is still too early to determine the venue and exact dates for such talks.

Peskov expressed appreciation for the efforts of U.S. negotiators, stating, 'Undoubtedly, any attempts…represent a small step towards peace, and we truly hold the peace-building efforts of the American negotiators in very high regard.'

The Kremlin did not provide details on the content of the latest U.S. peace proposals or the outstanding issues to be resolved.

Peskov also mentioned that Moscow had not yet received any information about contacts between the U.S. envoys and Ukrainian officials in Kyiv on Sunday.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov added that President Putin himself holds President Trump’s efforts in high regard, expressing gratitude for his commitment to the path towards peace.

While the Kremlin is open to the possibility of a phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump to discuss the U.S. envoys’ trip, no such call has been confirmed.
