Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced the provision of seven additional electric buses for Sargodha, aiming to enhance public transport facilities in the city.

During a meeting with members of the Punjab Assembly from Sargodha, Maryam highlighted the benefits of the electric bus service, noting that thousands of people were already benefiting from it daily in various areas including Bhalwal, Bhera, University, DHQ, Shahinabad, Kot Momin, and Tehsil Sahiwal.

The chief minister expressed satisfaction at seeing people, especially children and women, traveling comfortably on the electric buses, emphasizing that all resources were available to facilitate citizens.

Maryam also directed the lawmakers to closely monitor the Model Village, Suthra Punjab, and clean water projects in their respective areas, underscoring the importance of these development initiatives.

The meeting reviewed proposals and recommendations to accelerate ongoing development projects, with lawmakers providing positive feedback on various initiatives.

In addition to the electric bus service, the chief minister praised the establishment and completion of the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology in Sargodha, which was completed within a record period.

Maryam reiterated her commitment to development across every part of Punjab without discrimination, ensuring that all regions benefit equally from government initiatives.
