The new board also includes independent directors such as Mr. Abdul Wahid Sethi, Chief Financial Officer of National Bank of Pakistan, and Ms. Ammara Masood, Global Industry GM – Banking and Financial Services at Systems Limited, alongside Ms. Tania Aidrus, CEO of Waseela Global.

During the first Board meeting on July 31, 2026, the board focused on setting the foundation for the company’s next phase of growth and its continued contribution to Pakistan’s evolving digital payments landscape.

Following the meeting, 1LINK organized a special Town Hall event attended by over 450 employees. Mr. Atif Bajwa, Chairman of the Board, addressed the gathering and outlined the board's collective vision for 1LINK’s future, emphasizing leadership, collaboration, innovation, and the critical role of its people in driving the company’s success.

Mr. Najeeb Agrawalla, CEO of 1LINK, expressed confidence in the new Board’s strategic guidance during his remarks. He congratulated the Directors on their commencement of tenure and underscored 1LINK's commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s national payments infrastructure and delivering greater value to the financial ecosystem.
