The Sindh government has announced the launch of two new bus routes under the Peoples Bus Service, connecting Larkana to Qambar and Qambar to Shahdadkot. These routes were approved during a meeting chaired by Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon.

Minister Sharjeel Memon directed the Transport Department to expedite the launch of these new routes in order to provide better travel facilities for residents in upper Sindh.

During the same meeting, officials also briefed the minister on other transport initiatives. These include the launch of an electric vehicle (EV) taxi service in September and the arrival of 50 double decker buses in Karachi in October.

The minister highlighted that the Sindh government is committed to expanding modern, safe, and environmentally friendly public transport services across the province. Plans also include the phased induction of 1,000 electric buses into the public transport system later this year.

The minister emphasized the importance of improving public transportation to meet the needs of residents and promote sustainable development in the region.
