The project is being developed by Pakistan Petroleum Limited in collaboration with Bolan Mining Enterprises.

According to official estimates, the mine is expected to contain reserves of 69 million tons and operate for 34 years. This development reflects efforts by the government to improve the investment climate and accelerate the responsible development of mineral resources.
