Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Friday, following gains in the international market. The local price per tola reached Rs430,436 after a gain of Rs3,000 during the day.

According to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), 10-gram gold was sold at Rs369,029, marking an increase of Rs2,572 from the previous day's rate.

On Thursday, gold per tola had already seen a rise of Rs1,000 to reach Rs427,436. This trend continued into Friday, indicating a sustained upward movement in the market.

The international gold rate also saw an increase of $30 to $4,080 per ounce, with a premium of $20 added on top of this base price. These fluctuations are often closely tied to global economic conditions and investor sentiment.

In addition to gold, silver prices also experienced an upward movement, increasing by Rs79 to reach Rs6,294 per tola. This rise in precious metals reflects the broader market trends affecting Pakistan’s financial sector.

The APGJSA reported that these price changes are reflective of global market dynamics and local supply-demand factors. The association advises consumers and traders to stay informed about such fluctuations for better decision-making.
