The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has issued a schedule of planned electricity outages for Wednesday, affecting several areas in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, and Chakwal. The company aims to carry out maintenance and routine development work during these periods.
In Islamabad Circle, IESCO will suspend power supply from 5:00 am to 10:00 am to the Tramari, Lehtrar, ISI, Chattha, and Rehara feeders. Similarly, in Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, the Ghazan Khan feeder will be disconnected between 5:00 am and 10:00 am, while the Kambeli Sadiq feeder will experience a similar suspension from 6:00 am to 10:00 am.
In Attock Circle, IESCO has scheduled maintenance work on the Wah General Hospital feeder between 5:00 am and 12:00 pm. Meanwhile, in Jhelum Circle, consumers connected to the City Housing, Sanghoi, Safdar Shaheed, Nathwala, Langarpur, Saeela, Pakhwal, and F-9 (Chak Daulat) feeders will face power outages from 6:00 am to 10:00 am.
In Chakwal Circle, the company will suspend electricity supply from 6:00 am to 10:00 am to the Khanpur, Jhand Khan Zada, Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur, and CWO feeders. Additionally, IESCO will carry out maintenance work in the GSO Circle between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm on the 132kV AWC HMC Taxila and 132kV Sangjani Burhan lines.
The company also plans to undertake work from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on the 132kV Chakwal Bhagwal Talagang, 132kV Kahuta City Palandri and 132kV New Wah Bahtermore lines, along with related earth switches and surrounding areas. IESCO has apologized for any inconvenience caused by these scheduled outages.
The spokesperson from IESCO stated that the company will restore electricity before the scheduled time if maintenance work is completed earlier than expected. This measure aims to minimize disruption and ensure smooth operations in the coming days.
