Director Operations Muhammad Yousaf and Deputy Director Peshawar Division Zeeshan Mehsud accompanied the inspection team, underscoring the seriousness of the initiative.

Jillani instructed food safety teams across the province to intensify inspections and take strict legal action against businesses found selling substandard food products. He emphasized that no compromise would be made on food quality or public health, and violators would face legal action without discrimination.

The director general also directed officials to strengthen monitoring and ensure that food safety and hygiene standards are followed during the preparation, storage, transportation, and sale of food products.

The campaign aims to ensure that all food products meet the necessary safety and hygiene standards to protect public health and maintain the integrity of the food supply chain in KP.

The KP Food Safety and Halal Food Authority will continue to work closely with local authorities and businesses to enforce food safety regulations and improve the overall quality of food products in the province.
