Through its subsidiary, IL Foods Limited, the company plans to invest $55 million, equivalent to Rs. 15 billion, in a new dairy processing plant.
The plant, a joint venture with Türkiye’s Rella Gida, will manufacture high-value Whey Protein Concentrate 80 (WPC80) and a range of dairy products, including cheese and butter. Interloop CEO Musadaq Zulqarnain stated that the facility will contribute to Pakistan’s value-added exports.

Zulqarnain highlighted that the investment reflects the company's commitment to value addition, technology, import substitution, and the development of Pakistan's dairy industry. Once the facility is commissioned, Interloop’s combined annual milk processing capacity will reach 180 million litres.
The new plant is expected to enhance Pakistan’s dairy processing capabilities, contributing to the country’s economic growth and export potential. Interloop aims to leverage its expertise to boost the local dairy sector and support the government’s initiatives in this area.
