During these activities, teams identified and eliminated 740 positive mosquito-breeding sites, covering 2,602 locations and 7,103 houses.
The DHO emphasized the importance of sustained field surveillance, timely elimination of breeding sites, and public participation in controlling dengue.
Residents have been urged to cooperate with anti-dengue teams and ensure water containers, rooftops, and courtyards are clean and free of stagnant water.
The DHO stated that the 21 cases were reported between January 1 and October 5, with 14 cases from rural areas and seven from urban localities.
The DHO noted that these efforts are crucial to keeping dengue under control in the capital.
