Jeremy Clarkson spoke at the Conservative Party conference in Birmingham. Clarkson claimed that farming represented 'an absolute disaster' for him.

He stated that farmers currently confront rising costs stemming from several different sources. The presenter noted that his own farm yielded only three ounces of hen food over the course of a year.

Currently, the agricultural situation, Clarkson asserted, is 'very, very difficult'. Challenges confronting farmers include issues originating from Iran, Ukraine, taxes, or energy expenses.

Former chancellor Rachel Reeves announced the government would impose inheritance tax on family farms within the party's initial budget. However, the proposal to levy inheritance tax on family farms was reportedly softened in the previous year.

A government source confirmed they are collaborating with farmers to bolster domestic food output and improve supply chain resilience. Jenny Riddell-Carpenter dismissed the image of country pubs and black Labradors as a 'nostalgic' false memory.

Riddell-Carpenter stated, "It'll be that warm ale, a black Labrador by your feet in a pub that doesn't exist, and with symbolism of fox hunting all around them. It'll be a very far-right nostalgic vision of Britain that we don't want to have, (that) never really existed."
