Oppo has launched the Find X10 Pro Max as the first mobile device to incorporate a triple 200-megapixel camera setup. The hardware includes a 200-megapixel ultrawide lens alongside a 50-megapixel selfie camera.
While the device defaults to 26 megapixels across all three rear sensors, it allows users to capture images in 50-megapixel or 200-megapixel high-resolution modes. Standard 26-megapixel files typically occupy between 8 and 12MB, whereas 200-megapixel files range from 45 to 60MB.
The system automatically reduces output to 12.6 megapixels when shooting in darker environments. Technical specifications for the main camera include a 1/1.3-inch-type sensor with an f/1.5 aperture and 17-stop dynamic range via DeepPix.
A 3x telephoto camera uses a 1/1.56 inch sensor with an f/2.1 aperture, while the ultrawide camera also utilizes a 1/1.56-inch sensor. Video recording capabilities allow for 8K at 30fps or 4K at 120fps, with support for open gate recording and O-Log2.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset and features a 144Hz, 1.5K OLED display capable of 3,600 nits peak brightness. Battery capacity is set at 7,150mAh in Europe but reaches 8,000mAh in other markets.
Previous milestones in high-megapixel mobile photography include the Moto X30 Pro featuring a 200-megapixel camera in 2022 and the Vivo X300 Ultra being the first to offer two 200-megapixel cameras. Oppo has not made the Find X10 Pro Max available in the US.
