Pakistan faces England for a one-day international on Tuesday at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium for the first time in 21 years. This second match of the ODI tri-series marks the first time England has played a one-day international in Pakistan since 2005.
England won the toss and chose to bowl against the hosts. The host nation retained the same playing XI that secured a 37-run victory over Sri Lanka in the opening game.
Pakistan's lineup includes Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Saad Baig, Hasan Nawaz, Salman Ali Agha, Arafat Minhas, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah. England's squad features Ben Duckett, Tom Banton, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Jordan Cox, Sam Curran, Will Jacks, Jamie Overton, Gus Atkinson, Adil Rashid and Sonny Baker.
The visitors are bolstered by the return of leg-spinner Adil Rashid. England leads Pakistan 57-32 in 92 one-day internationals.
During the first match, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 268 in 48.1 overs. The International Cricket Council (ICC) fined Pakistan 10% of their match fee for slow over-rates, while Sri Lanka was penalised 5% of their match fee for the same reason.
Pakistan captain Afridi said, "I hope we will be able to post a good total." England captain Brook said, "We will be trying to restrict them and then will try to chase that."
Brook further noted, "We have an experienced side, but this is a different series, different occasion and we will be trying to do well."
