Kemi Badenoch told a bash for Tory MPs on Sunday night that the party was getting ready for an election regardless of current focus areas. The Conservative party faces polling figures that show a decline compared to those recorded in 2024.

Tory MPs have expressed worry that Badenoch should direct her attention toward the economy rather than engaging in culture wars. Another individual noted that Badenoch appears to finally grasp that the focus must shift to the economy, stating, “That’s not Kemi’s instinct. But she does finally seem to understand it all has to be about the economy. That’s where we win.”

Furthermore, Badenoch, who holds the record for the longest tenure as a leader since Boris Johnson, responded to a question at the Conservative party conference. The party's credibility receives support from Andrew Griffith.

In other developments, Robert Jenrick was confirmed to have been expelled from the party. One shadow cabinet member remarked that “Nobody knew how much we hated Robert until he left.”

Additionally, Badenoch published a pamphlet of 30,000 words titled The Right Way.
