Huawei introduced its first desktop computers running HarmonyOS at the 2026 HarmonyOS Office Industry Summit in Wuhan's Optics Valley Science and Technology Exhibition Center on November 5. According to IT Home, the machines are branded under the Qingyun commercial line, with the HM650 model intended for enterprise customers and the HM650G model for government buyers.

Both desktop models utilize Huawei's Kirin X90 processor and run the HarmonyOS operating system. This debut expands Huawei's HarmonyOS PC portfolio from notebooks into tower desktops intended for office use. The Qingyun website currently lists the HM650 and HM650G alongside notebook models like the HM740 and HM940.

Photos from the summit provided by IT Home show the desktops as compact black towers featuring vertical front ventilation and front-facing USB-C and USB-A ports. Demo units were shown on desks connected to external monitors with wired keyboards. Chinese coverage related to the summit and previous Qingyun briefings stated the series employs a dual-layer cooling design. These machines are intended for everyday office tasks, as well as software development, simulation, and engineering design.

Phoenix Tech reported, citing Huawei materials, that the configurations include 512GB solid-state storage and 16GB of memory. Phoenix Tech also stated that the machines are sold through government and enterprise channels rather than consumer retail. Furthermore, Phoenix Tech reported that Huawei claims the series features a fully domestically sourced bill of materials, though Pandaily is not independently verifying these supply-chain figures.

Huawei's smart-office product account recently stated that HarmonyOS PC applications have passed 21,000 titles across categories including AI, education, entertainment, creative use cases, and office work. Support documentation on Huawei's consumer site also lists the HM650 and HM650G as HarmonyOS PC products covered by desktop-feature guides, confirming they are commercial products rather than concepts.

While Huawei did not release a full public consumer spec sheet at the summit, the on-site debut confirmed the product split between enterprise and government models. Pandaily is not treating unofficial figures regarding thermal performance or core counts as confirmed.
