The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a forecast warning of three days of light rain and drizzle in Karachi, starting from Monday. The city is also expected to experience stronger-than-normal winds during this period, according to the PMD’s Early Warning Centre.

Karachi's minimum temperature will remain between 28°C and 30°C, while daytime temperatures are predicted to range from 33°C to 35°C. Morning humidity is forecast at 70% to 80%, which is expected to ease to between 55% and 65% by the evening.

The PMD noted that moist currents from the Arabian Sea are affecting upper and central parts of Pakistan, while a westerly weather system is impacting northern regions. Across Sindh, hot and humid weather is anticipated to persist, with dust storms and thunderstorms likely in several districts including Dadu, Qambar Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Larkana, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Sukkur, Ghotki, Khairpur, Naushahro Feroze, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Sanghar.

Coastal areas of Sindh, including Karachi, are expected to remain partly cloudy with occasional strong winds and isolated spells of light rain or drizzle. The PMD advises residents in these areas to prepare for potential weather disruptions during their daily activities.

The forecast also highlights the impact on various sectors such as transportation, agriculture, and public health. Authorities have been advised to take necessary precautions to ensure safety and minimize any adverse effects on the population.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed through official channels and local media outlets for updates on weather conditions. The PMD continues to monitor the situation closely and will provide further updates if required.
