OpenAI is deploying a new Intelligent UI feature for ChatGPT alongside the forthcoming GPT-6 model. The update is set to begin rolling out on Wednesday.

Interactive elements within ChatGPT may incorporate tappable buttons, task-specific calculators, interactive charts, editable graphs, diagrams, maps, and other controls. The primary objective behind the Intelligent UI is to simplify the understanding of complex subjects.

OpenAI demonstrated ChatGPT generating diagrams and other visual components almost instantly to explain abstract topics. Aarush Selvan stated that ChatGPT has largely functioned as a text-based interface, but many useful answers benefit from including more than just text.

OpenAI showcased visuals for subjects such as recipes, bicycle mechanics, multi-day hiking routes, and personal savings calculations. The Intelligent UI will roll out globally to Pro, Plus, Business, and Enterprise users with GPT-6.

Thursday marks the scheduled arrival of the feature for Free and Go users. Furthermore, OpenAI will start embedding invisible, machine-readable watermarks onto text generated by ChatGPT and Codex within the European Union.
