American Authors is launching Bogoo’s Best Day, a new project designed for children and families. The project centres its narrative around three characters: Bogoo, Bestie, and Papa Piña.
The debut album, titled The Greatest Adventure Yet, is scheduled for release on 23 October 2026. Three tracks from this forthcoming project include “Celebrate,” “Sing With Friends,” and “Luckiest Kid Alive.”
Separately, the song “Zombie Walk” will be available to the public starting 1 October 2026. Zac Barnett developed an early interest in puppetry after assisting his father at puppet shows across Southern California.
Matt Sanchez drew the inspiration for the character Papa Piña from his Mexican background and his grandfather. Previously, American Authors achieved success when their track “Best Day of My Life” appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 in both 2013 and 2014.
That same song, “Best Day of My Life,” reached a peak position of No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100.
