Trump confirms $90 payment to over 20 million Medicare enrollees

Donald Trump stated that the US government will issue a one-time $90 payment to more than 20 million Americans enrolled in Medicare. The White House confirmed that eligible seniors will receive this $90 payment through direct deposit in early October.
For those without direct deposit access, the White House noted that a physical check will be issued in early October. These payments draw from the Medicare Improvement Fund, which received $2 billion from Congress.
Separately, the Trump administration is sending $500 payments to nearly one million Americans. Previously, Trump proposed sending $5,000 checks to all adult citizens should Republicans gain control of the House and Senate in the midterms.
