Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif launched mobile police station vans, establishing a new service mechanism across the province. Currently, thirty-three mobile police stations are operational across various districts.

Six of these mobile units are designated as Pink Mobile Police Stations, ensuring dedicated female staff support. Each mobile police station is equipped to provide fourteen distinct police-related services.

Services available at these vans include filing online First Information Reports (FIRs), reporting missing persons, conducting criminal record checks, and processing tenant registrations. Furthermore, citizens can use the mobile units to report lost documents such as CNICs, cards, and checkbooks.

The vans also facilitate the issuance and renewal of driving licenses, covering both learner and regular categories, alongside international driving licenses. For women, the Pink Mobile Police Stations offer assistance with sensitive issues, including matters of harassment, violence, and abuse concerning women and children.

Authorities plan to disseminate the vans’ operational schedules via social media, other communication channels, and local mosque announcements.
