Following the application period, the department will conduct document verification from October 20 to 22, 2026, and resolve any raised concerns from October 23 to 26, 2026.

The issuance of e-transfer orders is scheduled for October 27, 2026, marking the final step in this process.

Chief Executive Officers of District Education Authorities (DEAs) have been instructed to ensure the proper tagging of promoted teachers in the SIS portal. Under the Punjab E-Transfer Policy 2024, teachers who fail to secure postings due to insufficient preferences or unselected vacancies can be assigned to available positions by the department.

The policy also applies to teachers awaiting postings, who can be assigned to any available vacant post through the SIS portal if they fail to provide sufficient preferences.

Eligible teachers are advised to review available vacancies and select suitable posting preferences before submitting their requests. The department will verify applications and supporting documents during the specified verification period.
