Fazlur Rehman urges joint agenda through All-Parties Conference

Opposition leaders met Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence, according to reports. The gathering included Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri, Maulana Lutfur Rehman, Muhammad Aslam Ghouri, Senator Kamran Murtaza, and Akhunzada Hussain Yousafzai.
Rehman stated that the All-Parties Conference (APC) must formulate a joint agenda after consulting all political parties. He further asserted that the government has left no room for political negotiations.
Rehman also claimed that a long march represents everyone's democratic right. Furthermore, the Maulana argued that neither governor's rule nor imposing an emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would resolve the existing problems.
Addressing national security, Rehman maintained that eliminating terrorism requires national-level consultation. Separately, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas suggested that politicians should pursue a joint political struggle.
Salman Akram Raja added that the relationship of coercion between the people and the state must conclude.
