Commander National Strategic Command (CNSC) Lieutenant General Aamer Raza issued a stern warning to Pakistan’s adversaries, emphasizing that any miscalculation will be met with a response far beyond the imagination or calculation of the initiator.

The warning was issued in response to provocative remarks made by Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who had warned Pakistan that any “fresh terrorist activity from across the border would invite a strike even bigger than the last time,” according to Indian news agency ANI.

Gen Raza reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces stand prepared to “defend every inch of the motherland” at all costs, underscoring the country’s resolve to protect its sovereignty.

In the “post-truth era,” Gen Raza highlighted that adversaries seek to drive a wedge between the people of Pakistan and its armed forces through “calculated disinformation and narrative warfare.”

He elaborated that following the failure of Operation Sindoor, adversaries have escalated proxy terrorism and sub-conventional warfare to “fracture Pakistan’s social cohesion and state infrastructure.”

The CNSC commander emphasized that the country’s stance remains resolute and unambiguous, with no space for conflict or war in a nuclearised environment.

Gen Raza’s warning comes at a time when tensions between Pakistan and India remain high, with both countries engaging in a series of verbal spats and military posturing.

The statement from the CNSC is seen as a clear indication of Pakistan’s readiness to respond to any perceived threat, reinforcing the country’s strategic deterrence capabilities.
