The two leaders welcomed the growing momentum in Pakistan–Jordan bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation across political, defence, economic, educational, cultural, and people-to-people domains.

Additionally, Dar held a separate meeting with Abdisalam Abdi Ali, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia. They reviewed longstanding fraternal ties between Pakistan and Somalia and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in various sectors.

Pakistan’s participation in the ministerial meeting was seen as a manifestation of its principled support for the Palestinian people and commitment to establishing an independent State of Palestine based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

The Foreign Office stated that Dar would reaffirm Pakistan's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause at the ministerial meeting. The meeting brought together foreign ministers from Arab League member states and a group of Islamic countries to discuss the deteriorating situation in occupied Jerusalem.

Pakistan has repeatedly condemned continued incursions by extremist Israeli settlers into Al-Aqsa Mosque, Islam’s third-holiest site located in east Jerusalem. This compound is central to Palestinian identity and often serves as a flashpoint for tensions.
