The Pakistan government has recently launched an upgraded Awam Express service between Peshawar and Karachi, aiming to enhance long-distance travel within the country. The new initiative comes as a response to growing demand for improved transport facilities among citizens.
On November 23rd, Secretary of Railways Syed Mazhar Ali Shah inaugurated this revamped service at Peshawar Cantt Railway Station in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The upgraded Awam Express is expected to provide a smoother and more comfortable journey for travelers between the two major cities.
In his speech, Syed Mazhar Ali Shah highlighted that this new service will not only improve connectivity but also boost economic activities along its route by providing ease of access. He emphasized on investing in better infrastructure to serve the growing needs of Pakistan’in citizens and visitors alike.
