The NAB Chairman stated that the bureau has initiated federal-level power-sector cases and will pursue wrongdoing involving power plants, emphasizing that it is a major undertaking and that the bureau is ready to take on powerful interests.

In a significant move, the NAB Chairman declared that the bureau will not negotiate further on tariffs and has completed preparatory work on power-sector matters.

While the Chairman did not publicly identify the power plants or specific allegations against them, the announcement signals a strong stance against potential corruption in the power sector.

The NAB’s actions come as part of a broader effort to recover government assets and ensure transparency in public sector dealings.
