Key Takeaways

  • Jaecoo J5 HEV Comfort and Premium variants see price hikes of Rs. 300,000 each.
  • Jaecoo J7 Premium model experiences a price reduction of Rs. 500,000.
  • New prices for J5 HEV lineup will take effect from October 1, 2026.

Jaecoo, a prominent automobile manufacturer in Pakistan, has revised the ex-factory prices of its J5 and J7 models following the introduction of the new tax regime. The changes are set to impact buyers of these vehicles, with some models experiencing price increases while others see reductions.

The Jaecoo J5 HEV Comfort variant now carries an ex-factory price of Rs. 6,999,000, marking a Rs. 300,000 increase from its previous price of Rs. 6,699,000. Similarly, the Jaecoo J5 HEV Premium variant has seen its price rise by Rs. 300,000, from Rs. 7,699,000 to Rs. 7,999,000.

In contrast, the Jaecoo J7 Premium model has received a price reduction of Rs. 500,000, bringing its ex-factory price down to Rs. 9,999,000 from the previous Rs. 10,499,000.

The revised pricing will take effect on different dates for the two models. The new prices for the Jaecoo J5 HEV lineup will become effective from October 1, 2026, while the revised Jaecoo J7 Premium price of Rs. 9,999,000 became effective from September 14, 2026.

Jaecoo has also provided an option for customers who have already made partial payments on J5 HEV bookings. These buyers can lock in the existing prices by clearing their full outstanding balance by September 30, 2026, thus avoiding the price hike.

The price adjustments reflect the ongoing changes in the Pakistani market, particularly in response to the new tax regime. These changes are expected to impact the purchasing decisions of potential buyers, who will need to consider the revised prices when making their choices.

The latest update brings mixed changes across Jaecoo’s lineup, with both J5 HEV variants recording Rs. 300,000 increases, while the J7 Premium becomes Rs. 500,000 cheaper. This move by Jaecoo is part of a broader trend in the automotive industry as companies adapt to new market conditions and regulatory changes.
