The government is working to make financing easier for SMEs, including access to modern technology and funding needed to compete in international markets.

The meeting was also briefed on joint risk-sharing arrangements for lending, supply chain financing, and improved data sharing between relevant institutions.

Digital systems are being expanded to allow consumers to apply for small loans without visiting bank branches.

The government will activate an SME portal by the end of November to facilitate access to financing for small and medium enterprises.

The meeting was told that NBP’s housing finance approval rate of 76 percent was a positive development.
