Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a sudden and significant increase on Friday, with the price of 24-karat gold closing at Rs. 460,336 per tola, up by Rs. 6,900 from the previous day.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 gram gold also saw a substantial rise, settling at Rs. 394,663 after gaining Rs. 5,914.
In the international market, gold prices gained $69 to settle at $4,378 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
This increase in gold prices came after a decline of Rs. 3,800 on Thursday, when the price of 24-karat gold closed at Rs. 453,436.
The rise in gold prices was mirrored in the silver market, with the price of silver settling at Rs. 7,169 per tola after gaining Rs. 300 on Friday.
