Minister Pirzada stated that work is underway to introduce new housing schemes for people on the waiting list, emphasizing the need to provide residential facilities to those in need.
He also directed the authorities to expedite pending housing projects and ensure their practical implementation and completion, highlighting the urgency of the matter.
The meeting also focused on the process of providing possession to existing FGEHA allottees, with the minister directing that allottees who had already been allotted plots should receive possession at the earliest possible stage, subject to progress on the required development work.
The minister noted that ongoing projects, including Sector F-14/F-15 and the Margalla Orchard joint venture with DHA, are progressing well.
